Unfortunately, unforeseen situations can occur whilst travelling no matter how much care you take of yourself.
This can be an extremely frightening experience for anyone involved, and therefore our Emergency Assistance team are on hand 24/7 to ensure that any stress is alleviated and that you understand what is happening from start to finish.
We have a team of advisors liaising directly with doctors that are on call 24/7, 365 days a year.
Obviously, we hope that you won’t ever have to use this service, however, you need to know the process just in case.
You need to contact us as soon as is possible if yourself or another policyholder travelling with you requires emergency medical assistance.
You can do this by calling us on +44 (0) 203 772 4991
Alternatively, you can email us on:
This way, our team can then liaise with the hospital directly, taking the pressure off you.
If you do not require urgent medical attention and your outpatient bill is less than £500 then you will need to pay this to the medical facility, and ensure you keep all receipts so you can claim upon your return.
When contacting our Emergency Assistance team, they will allocate you a case number which will correlate with your policy as well as the information they take from you over the phone.
If your case is referred to one of our doctors, they may also then contact you to discuss your conditions in further detail.
*Please note, our online prices automatically include a 15% discount against our Customer Service Centre prices.
